The Clean Sweep
Saturday July 11th from 10am onwards at The Pike and Eel.
This will be our 6th event Daventry District Council will be providing litter picking equipment for those who want to join in. Let’s get that last bit of litter that we might have missed on previous clean up events.
The children really enjoy litter picking when they have joined us before so send them over to join in.
If you can’t join us but are keen to help make a difference you can do your bit any time you like.
Just remember to take before and after pictures so we can share your efforts
We would like to tackle Tamar Square which has become a little neglected due to British Gas digging up there these past few months.
Please bring a broom and help us to give it a clean sweep as well as a tidy up of the verges where the sweeper couldn’t access due to the space being too small or because of the parked cars.
Tamar is the heart of our estate and receives many visitors so it would be nice if it looked good for both residents and visitors.
If you can’t join us but would still like to take part why not clear the gullies, verge and paths where you live.
Help get rid of the grime that has gathered there for years.
Please take a before and after picture and send them to us so we can all appreciate your efforts and see the difference for ourselves.
Our estate is looking amazing because of all your efforts over the past year.
So many people are making a difference in so many ways we can’t thank you enough.
