Community Street Art Project

I am extremely happy to announce that the Yeomanry Subway has been selected as part of The Community Street Art Project.

I would love to see children of all ages from the Grange estate take part, under 8’s will have to have an adult with them. Either sign up and join in or come along on the day to watch the artwork take place.

The next phase of the street art project will involve coming up with some themes/designs and spray painting the Yeomanry Way underpass on The Grange.

The painting will take place on the 17th and 18th August and there will be some sessions leading up to this where we will be putting ideas together for the design.

You can sign up to the project and find out more by emailing Mel Bland- mel.bland@daventryphoenix.org or come along to  a registration event on Friday the 10th July at 5pm at the Phoenix Centre.

There are limited spaces so it will be first come first served.

If you miss out this time you be put on a list for future projects.

People of all ages are welcome to be involved.

Contact us to find out how.

In order for this project to be carried out we need to give the subway a white wash, this is where the grown ups can get involved, as soon as we get some masonry paint I will fix a date and time when we can do this.
